What it is

Molded from coconut husk fiber bonded with natural latex. Roots grow straight through the wall, so the whole pot goes into the ground or a bigger container. Round and square shapes, from seedling size to 12 in planters.

How it's made

From husk to Coir Pots

Fibre openingClean fibre is loosened and spread into an even layer.

Latex bondingNatural rubber latex is sprayed on to bind the fibres.

Hot mouldingThe bonded mat is pressed into pot-shaped moulds.

CuringPots are cured and dried so they hold their shape.

Trimming and QCRims are trimmed; wall thickness and drainage are checked.

Nesting and packingPots are nested and packed by size.
