Q: What is coir?

Coir is the natural fibre from the outer husk of the coconut. When the husk is processed, it gives three materials: long fibre (used for rope, logs and mats), short fibre (used for pots and moss poles) and pith, also called coco peat (used as a growing medium). All Coirpath products are made from these three materials.

Q: Where are your products made?

In Tamil Nadu, India, one of the country's top three coconut-growing states. Husks come from farms in the region, and products are processed, tested and packed before shipping from Tuticorin port.

Q: Do you sell retail?

No. Coirpath supplies in bulk only: full and mixed containers to importers, distributors, growers, nurseries, landscapers and retail chains. We also pack any product under your own brand (private label).

Q: Which countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide, with dedicated support for Oman and the USA: local labelling, units, documents and port options for each.

Q: What is the minimum order?

One 20 ft container for most products. Coir Logs start at one 40 ft HC because they are bulky. Mixed containers across the range are available.

Q: Can I get samples before ordering?

Yes. Tell us the products and grades you are interested in and we will send samples with their lab results, so you can test them before placing an order.

Q: How long does an order take?

Usually 3–4 weeks from sample and artwork approval to dispatch, plus sea transit: about 7–12 days to Oman and 25–40 days to the USA.

Q: Do you supply coco peat in bulk to the USA?

Yes. We ship full and mixed containers of coco peat and other coir products to US East, Gulf and West Coast ports, with USDA phytosanitary certificates.

Q: Do you supply coir products to Oman?

Yes. Containers reach Sohar, Muscat or Salalah in about 7–12 days, with Arabic and English labelling available.
